Classes

Regarding Scheduling: Please refer to the 'book online' tab underneath "more'. Note: I use public transportation; therefore appointment times may have to be adjusted to accommodate transit time. This means that when you sign up for a time I will need an address in order to ascertain transit time. If I need to adjust the time I will be sure to contact you promptly.  I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Infant Massage Class

The infant massage class is an hour long. This includes ample practice time along with discussion time. This gives the parent plenty of time to practice and introduces the massage at a pace that does not overwhelm the infant. The class will be limited to six infants and can be held at a parent's house or in a variety of outside locations such as libraries, chiropractic offices, or yoga studios. Regardless of the location, the environment will need to be warm, quiet, safe, and comfortable. Waterproof mats, towels, and blankets are recommended. I will have one or two of the waterproof mats/towels/blankets but not enough for the entire class.

Pediatric Fascial Balancing Newborn-7 Months

The first pediatric fascial balancing session is one hour long with about 30 minutes of hands-on practice and the subsequent sessions will last 30 minutes.  This allows time for the infant to adjust and take breaks as needed. The massage session is held once every 2-3 weeks. For issues related to nursing or constipation each session will be scheduled a week apart until the issue resolves. Typically I will see the child for 3-4 sessions with the last one being very short and usually just a check-in. As the child grows new concerns (such as headaches) might arise leading to reassessment. This class can be held at a parent's house or at my private practice (please email for the location). Regardless of the location, the environment will need to be warm, quiet, safe, and comfortable. Waterproof mats, blankets, and toys (six or less that do not make noise or light up) are recommended to have on hand.

One-on-one Infant Massage Class

The one-on-one infant massage class is an hour long. This includes ample practice time along with time to ask questions. This gives the parent plenty of time to practice and introduces the massage at a pace that does not overwhelm the infant. This class can be held at a parent's house or in a variety of outside locations such as libraries, chiropractic offices, or yoga studios. Regardless of the location, the environment will need to be warm, quiet, safe, and comfortable. Waterproof mats, towels, and blankets are recommended to have on hand.

One-on-one Pediatric Massage Class

The one-on-one pediatric massage class is 30 minutes long. Six initial classes are recommended spaced about a week apart. Once I establish trust, communication, and rapport the child/adolescent can continue to see me periodically in a similar manner as adults who go to massage. This class can be held at a parent's house or in a variety of outside locations such as libraries, chiropractic offices, or yoga studios. Regardless of the location, the environment will need to be warm, quiet, safe, and comfortable. A few (six or less) favorite toys are recommended to have on hand but I will bring a few toys as well.
